2015 Fee Schedule for Consulting Services

 

• SERVICES

  Investigation, research, analysis, travel, report preparation, document review, data reduction, testing, evaluations, conferences, and other activities to the job duties:

 

Professional/Engineering Services

Bruce A. Suprenant, PhD, PE, FACI…………..@ $400/hr

 

• Expert witness testimony, in court or in other legal forums, to be billed at an hourly rate twice the hourly rate according to section 1.1.

 

• DIRECT EXPENSES

2.1  Mileage……………………………………………………………… $0.55/mile

2.2  All other travel expenses, Meals and Lodging…………………. Cost + 15%

2.3  Supplies, equipment usage/rental, and other direct expenses.. Cost + 15%

2.4  Outside services…………………………………………………….  Cost + 15%

 

• INVOICING AND PAYMENT TERMS

  All invoices will be presented monthly as a total of time and material charges in accordance with this schedule and are due and payable upon receipt.  

  A monthly charge of 1.5% will be added on any unpaid balance after thirty days from date of invoice.

 

• LIMIT OF LIABILITY

  Consultant provides services at the direction of the Client, and Client agrees to limit Consultant’s Aggregate Liability to the amount of fees received by Consultant for services rendered on project.  Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Consultant for all claims against Consultant arising from Consultant’s activities on the project except for Consultant’s sole gross negligence.

 

• RETAINER

  A retainer fee may be required prior to starting work.  The retainer fee will be applied to the ending balance at the completion of the engagement.

  Please return a signed copy of this fee schedule as acknowledgement and acceptance of the terms and conditions contained herein for consulting services and as authorization for Concrete Engineering Specialists to commence work on the project.
